I have wondered how many people leave Illinois because of the taxes and anti-gun laws.
ReplyDeleteIt may be simpler (and more profitable) for me to move. I've been checking out some possibilities...
I will admit that leaving IL wasn't entirely because of the condition of the state - there were personal issues going on also. I am now in KY, the land of open carry, CCW shall issue, and densely wooded areas not too far east of me that could prove beneficial in the future should TSHTF, if ye get my drift.
ReplyDeleteThe Lexington area seems to have not been hit as hard by the economy; it might be something to look at.
My heart is in Tennessee, the rest of me is stuck here in Illinois. Mom and Dad moved up here from Tennessee in 1951 to find steady work. I'm partial to eastern Tennessee, but also am attracted to some areas around Chattanooga. Someday... maybe...
