Today is the 45th anniversary of the 1967 Lake Zurich tornado.


The response to the original blog post (one year ago) has been good, and it has been gratifying to hear from former neighbors who also lived through the event. 

There is nothing so humbling as witnessing the utter destruction from one of the most devastating forces of nature.

    Thank you my friend! Our town had one death and many injuries, but nothing on the scale of the tragedy that the towns of Oak Lawn and Belvedere suffered just an hour or so before we were hit.
