Hey Trump, dat's a DEPLORABLE IDEA; IIRC they've tried that in Chicago many times before and they always LOSE when challenged in court.

Stop and Frisk is NOT a good idea you dumbass.  Period.

I'll +1 the thoughts below from Kenny Lane:

"May I present the Fourth Amendment?
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
What has been done in New York and what Trump is proposing for Chicago is unConstitutional, period.
Yup, Make America Great Again by going against the very things that set us apart to begin with – that oughta work.
The Bill of Rights was included as a package – if you think that you can ignore one while championing the other nine, you’re wrong. That is progressive thinking and that’s why our Nation has spiraled downward the way that it has.
I would rather see Chicago walled in and allowed to completely destroy itself before a violation of any of our Rights is violated."
Gravitas.  Amen.

We hold these truths to be self evident that the government controls the truth.

When will Zero Hedge vanish?

"For the press and freedom of press to mean anything, the media must be outside the government, looking in. Currently, that characterization only applies to the independent segments of the media, mostly the Internet, that takes a reflexively adversarial stance towards the powers that be, including the MSM. Call it the alternative media. What it lacks in the docile MSM’s cherished “access” it more than makes up for in pugnacity."

Where does Hillary stand on this? Does she stand with the money? Where does Trump stand on this? Does he stand with the money? Where is good ole Big Mouth Bernie? Where does Obama stand on this? Sicut solet, Native Americans Stand Alone.

Hat tip -> Kenny Lane.

FULL Exclusive Report: Dakota Access Pipeline Co. Attacks Native Americans with Dogs & Pepper Spray

It's time to change the scope of this project and make some serious accommodations.   Do not tell me that there are no alternatives; there are always alternatives.

This here humble lily-white-ass redneck American and his blogsite stands with the tribes.  It's time for the politicians to declare where they stand; voters have a right to know.

Getting a grip on my S&W J Frame .357 Magnums

Above on the left is a S&W 640-1 wearing big ole thick (likely aftermarket) hand filling grips, and on the right is a S&W 60-9 adorned with what I believe to be factory combat-style grips (although they are not marked as such, I believe S&W sourced grips from Uncle Mike's for a while).

The grips on the left are okay for shooting but they are (for my taste) marginal for IWB and shoulder carry; they really suck for pocket carry.  The grips on the right make that revolver substantially more agreeable for IWB, shoulder, and pocket carry; I decided to seek a match of those grips so I could put them on the 640-1.

Above are newly purchased S&W factory logo round-butt J Frame grips (AKA "stocks" for all you pedants); on the left are the combat style grips; on the right are the Craig Spegel style boot grips. I find the boot grips to be just downright wonderful for J Frames stoked with .38 Special cartridges but not much fun with any flavor of the .357 magnum loads.

Above on the left is a full frontal nudity porno shot of the 640-1 round-butt J Frame.

Above, the grips on the Model 60-9 (revolver with the exposed hammer) look to be a bit larger than the new grips that we put on the Model 640-1 (revolver with internal hammer).

Although the new S&W logo grips for the 640-1 are not an exact match to those that are on the 60-9, I believe they will work out just fine and dandy; holster-time and range-time will tell the final tale.

What a day that was ...

Yeah ...

Well, I'm dressed up so nice
An' I'm doin' my best
An' I'm startin' over...
I'm startin' over in another place

Lemme tell you a story
Big chief with a golden crown
He's got rings on his fingers
And then he walks up, up to the throne

He's makin' shapes with his hands
An' don't choo dare sit back
Now don't choo dare sit down
And don't choo dare speak up!

And on the first day, we had everything we could stand
Ooh who could've asked for more?
And on the second day, there was nothing else left to do
Ooh what a day that was.

There are fifty thousand beggars
Roaming in the streets
They have lost all their possessions
They have nothing left to eat

Down come a bolt of lightning
Start an electrical storm
Starts a chain reaction
Go pull a fire alarm

I'm dreaming of a city
It was my own invention
I put the wheels in motion
A time for big decisions

And on the first day, we had everything we could stand
Ooh and then we let it fall
And on the second day, there was nothing else at all
Ooh what a day that was.

Oh a day that was
Ooh that's the way it goes
There's a million ways- to get things done
There's a million ways- to make things work out.

Well I'm going right through
And the light came down
Well they're roundin' 'em up
From all over town

They're movin' forward and backwards
They're movin' backwards and front
And they're enjoying themselves
Moving in ev'ry direction

And if you feel like you're in a whirlpool
You feel like going home
You feel like talking to someone
Who know the difference between right and wrong

And on the first day, we had everything we could stand
Ooh and then we let it fall
And on the second day, there was nothing else left at all
Ooh what a day that was.
(We're go(in') boom boom boom That's the way we live
And in a great big room and That's the way we live.
