To vote in our primaries I must register an affiliation. Over my many years I did the "Democrat" thing and then switched over and did the "Republican" thing soooooooo I will forever get trash mail and phone calls from both sides of the idiotocracy. This year I'm just going in to vote NO for the never-ending referendum to raise school taxes (69% of our property taxes already go to the schools). Other than that issue, I really just gave up caring which party our self-serving local government monkeys belong to.

As a former school teacher I must confess that I also have refused to vote more money for schools. As wasteful as you know they are, you only see the tip of the iceberg. I have a hard time being polite when people want to praise teachers.
