World Health Organization will rename "Monkey Pox" to "Honkey Pox" so only pale folks are offended

 

I AM THE HONKEY POX VIRUS AND I'M COMING TO GET ALL Y'ALL!


Seriously, "Monkey Pox" was about the origins of the virus.  
How or why that name became a problem is beyond my comprehension.

    Probably has nothing to do with Africa, but is an attempt to pre-empt snark about the consensus that most of those infected were men who admitted to having "sex" with other men. Them "alphabet people" are sensitive about "gay plagues". This time they don't have the IV drug users to blame.
