When WD40 dries it crystalizes. I once got it into the trigger mechanism of one of my rifles and it totally froze it until I used breakfree and lubricated it properly.I'm not saying WD40 is bad but it needs to be followed by other proper gun oils.
I agree. I used WD40 for some stuff, but not my guns. For a light gun oil / solvent I settled on Rem Oil. When a heavier oil is needed I use Hoppe's.
