Illinois politics is so corrupt that politicians pay bribes to other politicians

Folks, y'all can do what you feel is best but I quit identifying with Republicans, Democrats, and every other party / ideology decades ago.  IMHO, the party players are only in it for themselves.   

Want my vote?  I want invasive background checks on EVERY federal, state, and local politician;  EVERY ONE OF THEM.  I want TERM LIMITS.  I want RED FLAG laws so citizens can tag corrupt politicians.

I don't want to hear any more lies and obfuscations.  I have broken all ties with zealots.

I swear, the worst of our local street drug-thugs have more class than do the politicians and their dedicated minions.

I’ll bet that that, with due diligence, the FBI could find a higher number of criminals per capita in the U.S. House of Representatives and the in the U.S. Senate than in any of the worst neighborhoods of Chicago.  Just sayin’.  For now, I'll guess I'll have to settle for the token arrest of an Illinois politician every now and again ...
