Part of yesterday's government mandated isolation I spent on getting ready for other stuff

I still have the 10-gallons of treated gasoline (2x5-gallon containers) that I stocked before winter, so we are in good shape for fuel at the moment.  I exercised the engines on the zero-turn mower, the snow blower, and the auxiliary generator.  Both the mower and the generator are due for an oil change but I'll get to that later.  I checked the air pressure in all the tires on the mower; all needed topping off.  I greased everything that needed greasing. The spare car was due for a spin down the highway so I gave it some exercise too.

I used the shop-vac, a portable electric heater, and the air compressor to provide enough draw to load test the generator.  I usually plug in enough stuff to bring the load to 70% but decided that I didn't want to haul up more heaters and power tools from the basement storage shelves.

I've had this generator a long time --- maybe 14-years.   It's a workhorse and has come in handy.
