Toward the end of Labor Day we ceased laboring around the house and yard and took a 15-minute-ride east to Lake Michigan

After finding a parking spot at the harbor and listening to the rock&roll band in the park for a while we moseyed on over to the health-food purveyor and each of us consumed three scoops of cold chocolate nourishment.

We then decided to burn some calories so we took a long stroll down to the lighthouse and back.  

Nowadays we only visit the harbor a couple of times each year.  It was a bit over a couple of decades ago when we kept a boat there.  It was fun for a while but it evolved from recreation to obligation after 3-years.  No regrets either way.
