Went to the 5 Star Firearms Shooting Range in Zion, Illinois earlier today

Vintage 1951 Argentina Military Model of the Colt 1911

I burned through ~80-rounds of .45 ACP 230-grain hardball today; no feed jams.

(The hammer-bite ouchie on the web of my shooting hand will take a while to heal.)

It's a good old gun; very reliable when using 7-round magazines and round-nose (non-hollowpoint) ammo per John Moses Browning's original design.  

This is only my fourth range session this year.
