For the record, yes, I have visited California, from top to bottom.
Insofar as scenic shit-holes go, I opine that it is worth a trip to see it firsthand.
As for me, I have seen enough.
I have absolutely no desire to revisit.

Up in the mountains in the north is some of the most beautiful land I've ever seen but going from the north to the south is like driving into hell . 3 am in the morning when I drove through LA and there were people out and about like at noon back home . Freaks everywhere
