Back when cable TV was pretty much brand-new in our area I glommed onto CNN because I had always been (and still am) a NEWS junkie. Shortly thereafter I discovered CNN to be (IMHO) a money grubbing propaganda purveyor (along with the majority of the other cable "NEWS" outlets back then) so I cut the cable, canceled my subscription and never looked back.
