I am of the opinion that this generation of E-car batteries isn't green

Lithium mining and refining is dirty business 

I'll hazard a guess that NONE of that mining equipment pictured above is battery powered.

Litium batteries are not grown in orchards, they are not cheap, they do not last forever, and they are not readily recyclable.

That's probably the $greenest$ thing about this generation of E-car batteries.
