Blogger comment CAPTCHA

I shut CAPTCHA (word verification) off at this site.  I noticed that it was near impossible for me to decipher when I tried leaving comments at other blogs so I shut if off here.

Moderation is still on so I'll catch the robot-spam there.

I have to say that I've had two spam comments since I shut it off on my blog, and Blogger caught both of them so I didn't have to. So far so good.

and the idiot-spew.

I shut mine off several days ago. Only one spam comment (out of a half-dozen) made it through the filter, so I say Blogger is doing a great job of making the CAPTCHA unnecessary. I am only using moderation on older entries.
