Tom Watson of Irish Guard Firearms passed away

Sad news.  Tom was a friend to all.

I knew Tom via the online forums.  Countless others in the Dallas, Texas area knew him personally via his firearms business.

He will be missed, but not forgotten.

Hang a special toast in the air for Tom this St. Patrick’s Day.

Thank you for posting this. Rest in Peace, Mr. Watson.

Tom and his wife were former neighbors of mine, back when they were married, and had about 8 black Labrador Retrievers that he would work out and train daily.

I didn't actually know him personally then, but I realized who he was when I made arrangements to buy a Seecamp .32 from him around 2006 or 2007.

He was a good guy, and pretty darn tough to be dealing with the malady that put him in the wheelchair. His spirit was unquenchable. I am sorry I fell out of touch with him.

God bless,

-S. Fleming
