Photo above is my Great Great Grandfather, Civil War Veteran, Company C, First Kentucky Cavalry, U.S.

Mom and Dad had antecedents on both sides of that bloody conflict. Counties were split, towns were split, and families were split. It was never as simple as being the north versus the south.

The Preacherman says, "My advice to you is to get yourself a gun and learn how to shoot." The Gunman says, "My advice to you is to get yourself a Bible and learn how to pray."

Gosh, Ted, Art, Crusty, and Elmo... I appreciate it very much. Nothing dire is happening, just busy trying to lose some fat, get the yard and house in tip top shape, and finish some education units so I can hold onto one of my professional certificates (being retired, I thought I would just let it lapse but at the last minute I decided to put my nose back in the books and cram the credits needed... a last minute decision.) Thanks again guys.

Happy to hear all is well after reading about the cutr in blogging. Losing that fat does not seem to have anything to do with Internet use or blogging for me, I tried cutting back on one hoping it would help cut back on the other but did not have much luck.
