Happy Birthday, Mom.

Today was a beautiful first day of spring. Happy Birthday, Mom. Your five sons miss you very much.

The above photo is from July of 1969. Her roses will bloom again this year. They are something to see, but they will never be as beautiful as she was.

Life goes on, but it will never be the same without her.

There's not a day that goes by where I don't miss my Mom. We were both very lucky to have women like that nuture us, like the flowers.

Thanks, Bridgid. Your writings about your Mom have brought great comfort, on many occasions. Your blog entries should be published as a book. You are gifted.
