Our first freeze for the Autumn of 2015

It was 31 degrees F this morning.  The little pool of water left in the birdbath was not frozen solid but the surface was frozen all the way across.

Hopefully we will now get a good long stretch of Indian Summer.

The English newspapers would herald this as evidence of alien invasion. Third world Catholics would claim they had seen the eye of God. Car buffs would see an inspiration for hubcaps. You saw a drop of water making an interesting impression as the bird bath went through a change of phase. I think I will go with your interpretation.

Grace and peace.
